Manager, GeoSpatial Development
    Job Scope:
  • Responsible for developing policies, strategies and business models to promote the use of SLA data and e-services
  • Establish good relationships with other agencies and business partners and to collaborate with them on strategic projects
  • Lead and manage a team to achieve the department's objectives, which include organising initiatives to promote SLA data and e-services, negotiating for license agreements, protecting Intellectual Property, etc

    Requirements:
  • Degree in any discipline
  • 8 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in supervisory role
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Pro-active, tech savvy and with good business acumen
  • Experience in geospatial science, eg GIS, Remote Sensing, GPS or related is preferred
  • Knowledge or experience in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and/or license agreement negotiation will be an added advantage

Legal Counsel
    Job Scope:
  • You will be a member of the Legal Division, providing legal advice on a wide range of issues relating to the sale, allocation, leasing and management of state land and properties including privatization/divestment of properties. You will also advise on compulsory acquisition, purchase or surrender of private lands and Intellectual Property (IP) issues as well regulatory issues relating to the registration and issuance of land titles and the administration of Land Titles Act, the Land Titles (Strata) Act and the Residential Property Act
  • You will be involved in identifying and advising on legal risks in all aspects of the Authority's corporate affairs including law reform and drafting of legislation

Senior GeoSpatial Executive, GeoSpatial Development
    Job Scope:
  • Promote and proliferate the use of GIS and geospatial information among the public agencies, businesses and the community through various channels and activities e.g. GIS training, competition, forum, talks, etc
  • Manage geospatial-related projects within SLA as well as those under collaboration with public agencies, businesses and community organisations
  • Provide geospatial consultancy services in the area of analysis and technology to other teams within SLA and public agencies, businesses and community organisations
  • Conceptualise and create proof-of-concept or pilot GIS applications

    Requirements:
  • Degree in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Geography or related
  • At least 1 year of working experience related to GIS, mapping or land information system is preferred
  • Strong analytical and communications skills
  • Self-driven, hands-on and able to work independently as well as in a team

Senior Executive, Land & Estate Management (Estate & Infrastructure)
    Job Scope:
  • Plan, implement and manage infrastructure, engineering and building services projects and contracts for State land and properties
  • Responsible for planning and co-ordinating with other agencies/authorities on infrastructure, engineering and building services works
  • Carry out budget planning and cost management

    Requirements:
  • Degree in Building, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management

Senior Executive, Land & Estate Management (Slope Management)
    Job Scope:
  • Work with Professional Engineers to conduct regular inspection of State land slopes
  • Conduct pre-rectification studies which include the use of GIS model to identify steep State land slopes and work with relevant parties to carry repairs and preventive works
  • Plan and co-ordinate with other agencies/authorities on infrastructure, engineering and building services works

    Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills

Senior Executive, Property & Project Management
    Job Scope:
  • Responsible for the contract administration and project management of the periodic structural inspection of existing State properties; and you are expected to deal with professional engineers and building control and regulatory authorities
  • Manage and liaise with appointed consultants, term contractors, tenants and government agencies to ensure that the assigned projects are kept on schedule and within the allocated budget
  • Be part of a team that will oversee and manage term contractors to ensure the effective maintenance of vacant State properties, including the handing over and taking over of State properties

    Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering, Building, Quantity Surveying
  • Strong interpersonal, good written and verbal communications skills, meticulous and able to work independently

  • Propose, implement, monitor, review and report SLA's Corporate Performance Indicators (CPIs) and statistics to senior management, Board of Directors and MinLaw so as to provide excellent management support and accomplish corporate vision and goals of business excellence

Senior Project Executive, Procurement & Project Services Unit
    Job Scope:
  • Contract administrator for engineering consultancy and maintenance contractor term contracts
  • Ensure works comply to Government Instruction Manual (IM) and SLA Financial Regulation Manual (FRM) and executed in a fair and transparent manner
  • Co-ordinate inspections on building, slope and foreshore structures and review proposals submitted by the consultant pertaining to rectification and other civil engineering works to safeguard State's interests
  • Liaise with government technical departments (e.g. BCA) for submission and approval of works

Senior Executive, Land Lease Private (Co-ordination & Enforcement)
    Job Scope:
  • Manage and ensure that tenants and licensees of State properties comply with the terms of their respective Tenancy Agreements (TA) and Temporary Occupation Licences (TOLs)
  • Duties include conducting site inspections to identify unlawful uses, structures and sub-letting, and taking the required enforcement action

    Requirements:

  • Process direct land sales to statutory boards
  • Allocate State lands/buildings to Government Ministries
  • Issue and manage tenancy agreements and temporary occupation licences to statutory boards
  • Administer existing land leases for lease upgrading, lifting of title restrictions and development previews
  • Handle enquiries from statutory boards and ministries on land lease matters

Senior Executive/Executive, Land Titles Registry
    Job Scope:
  • Process and register legal documents for all land transactions involving private, public, commercial and industrial properties within the service standards; as well as ensure the accuracy and reliability of the Land Register System
  • Deal with members of the public as well as solicitors involved in the conveyancing process
  • Deal with other ministries and agencies eg. CPF Board, URA, LTA, JTC and HDB on land registration matters

    Requirements:
  • Degree in Law or Diploma in Legal studies, or at least 10 years' experience as a conveyancing secretary in a law firm
  • Have good knowledge of land and conveyancing law practice and the relevant legislations, Land Titles Act, Land Titles (Strata) Act, Residential Property Act and other laws in areas such as bankruptcy, corporate, and trusts and succession
